Radisson to open second Park Inn in Cape Town

Set to open in November the Park Inn by Radisson Cape Town Foreshore will be the second Park Inn by Radisson to open in South Africa.
While some will say that Cape Town needs another hotel like a fish needs a bicycle, the developers believe the position, accessibility, branding and target market of the hotel will ensure success.
Andrew McLachlan, the Rezidor hotel group’s vice-president, business development, Africa and Indian Ocean Islands, believes the Park Inn Cape Town Foreshore is a needed accommodation offering for the City of Cape Town and that the mid-market traveller segment that the brand targets presents the best opportunity for growth.
We focus on what really matters: comfortable beds, spotlessly clean rooms, Yes I Can! service and a hassle-free experience with colourful and contemporary interiors and innovative restaurants, so guests can enjoy the best experience in town – every time.
We plan to take Park Inn by Radisson to the primary, secondary and tertiary markets in city centres, suburban locations and near train stations and airport terminals across South Africa,” says McLachlan.
Mark Wernich is GM of the hotel which will offer a base for both business and leisure travellers and easy access to the headquarters of some big corporates and the Cape Town International Convention Centre.
The Park Inn Cape Town Foreshore will have indoor parking, a fitness room and rooftop swimming pool, a business centre and Wi-Fi for its 120 rooms and suites.
The hotel’s event facilities provide a venue for small to mid-sized business gatherings along with a pre-function rooftop area.
Rezidor is one of the fastest growing hotel companies in the world. It operates more than 400 hotels in over 60 countries across Europe, Middle East & Africa under the brand names of Hotel Missoni, Radisson Blu and Park Inn by Radisson.
