Our Take: A member of the elite Rosewood hotel group, the Rosewood San Miguel de Allende has quite the reputation to uphold. Most visitors only have good things to say about the hotel, praising the property's location in central San Miguel de Allende, its friendly customer service and its high-end appearance. The hotel's 67 rooms reflect the city's colonial heritage, outfitted with wood-beamed ceilings, handcrafted furnishings and local artwork. You'll also have your own terrace or balcony, soaking tub and (depending on which room you book) a fireplace. Previous visitors highly recommend an evening drink at the Luna Rooftop Tapas Bar, where you can enjoy fantastic views of central San Miguel de Allende. The Mexican cuisine at 1826 Restaurant also earns high praise; however, some caution that meals here can be pricey.
